𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | BOT pursues Board Meeting; 15 approved resolutions emerge for sustainable student success

The Board of Trustees of Limay Polytechnic College chaired by Hon. Mayor Richie Jason David convened for a meeting held at the College Library, November 19.
Dr. Elmer De Leon, College president and BOT vice chair, laid down almost 15 proposed resolutions for Board approval that obviously would benefit students and employees' welfare and development and would impact the academic operation and community integration in the institution. The motions for the said resolutions were 100% approved that the college president gratefully acknowledged to the Board.
Moreover, Dr. De Leon presented to the body the current status of the college and the projected enrollment for S.Y. 2026-2027; the LPC's standing in the light of UniFAST subsidy sustainability through advanced and timely regular submission of needed supporting documents and compliance with program and institutional standards based on CHED audit and report. He also cited the updates on its transition to the new campus by next school year as planned, which the honorable chair affirmed and committed to fulfill the needed facilities and to fast track the infrastructure.
To set the mood straight and positive, Dr. De Leon happily presented the institutional achievements in the preceding quarter, including the new world ranking stints, the provincial and regional championship slates, attracted partner agencies, institutions, industry companies and organizations for free services, shared programs and projects, donations to LPC, strong community integration engagement and immediate employment among student-interns during the 1st quarter of the school year.
Elated Hon. David remarked, "kung paano nyo nakakamit ang mga award at recognitions nyo, di ko po alam, pero lubos pong namamangha at humahanga ako sa inyo at umasa po kayo na ang ating pamahalaan ay patuloy na aagapay at tutugon sa inyong mga pangangailangan nang may buong sikap at prayoridad. Maraming, marami pong salamat sa lahat ng ito para sa legasiya ng aking ama."
He also promised to pursue book donations by a benefactor from the other town to fulfill the library. To note, 20 pieces of IPAD were turned over to LPC by a benefactor, thru the effort of the beloved Mayor and Chair.
Having no more agendum to discuss, the honorable chair adjourned the almost 3-hour meeting that left meaningful and fulfilling smiles among faculty, alumni and student representatives in the board for the positive turn-out of the meeting that embarks another significant milestone to be pursued by the institution.
The Board, thru the vice chair gratefully acknowledged the outgoing members of the Board who turned-over and presented their successors as new members during the meeting.#
