As the new academic year begins, Limay Polytechnic College celebrates Acquaintance Party 2026 at Limay Sports Complex, September 16.
To officially begin the program, Cultural Society danced to several songs, followed by class officers and student leaders' performance of 'Here I Am' by Barbie. Eventually, the faculty members had a fashion showcase.
Then, the next segment highlights the four representatives from each department by staging as drag queens and lip syncing songs they have chosen. Consequently, a game rock, paper, scissors with a twist was executed, competing girls and boys selected from different programs.
Furthermore, newly sworn departmental presidents conducted the segment dream mirror ceremony where they offered their dreams and visions for their leadership. Accordingly, the dream ribbon ceremony was executed.
Moreover, the awarding ceremony happened right then for the best male outfit winner was Jerald Valdez from the Department of Education, the best female outfit was given to Alexandra Sucgang from the Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA), and the LGBTQIA+ category was swept by the Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA), namely Andrew Santiago and Geo Andres.
Concluding the event, the Cultural Society Band performed various songs with the key theme 'One Stage, One Band' particularly Love Story by Taylor Swift, Panaginip by Nicole, Multo by Cup of Joe, and many more. #
