Date Posted: May. 12, 2026

To ensure the continued availment of the Free Higher Education benefit under Republic Act No. 10687, otherwise known as the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST), and upon successfully meeting the prescribed requirements, Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) renewed its affiliation through the signing of a new Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under the new leadership of UniFAST and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Representing LPC in the MOA signing held at the QA Room were College President Dr. Elmer De Leon and Mr. Ariel Vibar, Director for Finance and Administration. Witnessing the activity were Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, QUALITY Coordinator, and Ms. Sheryl Bartolo, UniFAST Focal Person and Finance Officer. Following the notarial process, Mr. Banda and Ms. Bartolo formally transmitted the signed MOA to CHED-UniFAST via courier.

The renewal of the agreement signifies the continuing subsidy and support of the national government, through CHED and UniFAST, for the uninterrupted pursuit of academic excellence and institutional development at LPC.

Notably, the various accomplishments, opportunities, expanded engagements, and institutional outcomes achieved by LPC reflect the collective efforts of its stakeholders and the invaluable support extended by CHED through the UniFAST assistance mechanism.

With this renewed partnership and sustained support, LPC remains committed to upholding quality education, delivering meaningful services to the youth, and contributing to economic growth and national development while creating positive impact within local communities and the global society at large. #
