𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC-JPIA clinches top placements in PICPAtinikan Accounting Quiz Bowl 2026; secures spots at the regional level

Limay Polytechnic College's Junior Philippines Institute of Accountant (LPC-JPIA) students on Sunday, clinched top placements in the recently concluded Provincial PICPAtinikan Accounting Quiz Bowl 2026, held at Colegio de San Juan de Letran Bataan in Abucay, Bataan, Sept. 13.

Leanne Jade Peñaflor placed second in Level 1, while Norielyn Alcantara secured third place in Level 2, highlighting LPC’s strong performance in the accounting competition. This achievement also showcased the students’ preparation and competence in applying accounting concepts in a competitive environment.

With their respective finishes, both students qualified as Bataan’s representatives for the Regional PICPAtinikan competition, which is scheduled to be held at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in Nueva Ecija in October.

Peñaflor and Alcantara competed alongside fellow LPC participants Johanne Reighn David, Kirchimae Sauza, Hannah Alegre and Dana Elise Casanaan.

The LPC delegation was supported by college instructors Mr. Danreve Apostol, Ms. Allysa Mae Saberdo, Ms. Jenny Santos, Ms. Cindy Lazarte and Mr. John Carlo Oracion, along with Department Head of the Business and Accountancy Department Dr. John Levy Rueda and College President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon.

Also, LPC extends acknowledgment to the Municipality headed by Hon. Richie Jason David, Hon. Marie Grace David and SB Members of Limay support and assistance in the process.

PICPAtinikan Accounting Quiz Bowl brought together student participants from institutions across Bataan to test their knowledge and skills in accounting through a competitive academic setting. The LPC delegation’s participation provided the students with an opportunity to benchmark their knowledge against fellow accounting students from other institutions in Bataan.
