Peñaflor: Huwag kayong sumugod sa isang gera kung kulang ang inyong sandata

Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) of Schools Division Office of Bataan Dr. Milagros M. Peñaflor on Thursday, stressed the significance of the teaching internship and outlined the essential preparations that the newly appointed student teachers must undertake prior to their official deployment during her speech in the recently concluded Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) 5th Lampara Investiture and Pinning Ceremony for Teacher Education Department (TED) Pre-Service Teachers, held at the Limay Sports Complex, August 14.

Dr. Peñaflor, who served as the keynote speaker, emphasized the significance of the student teaching experience, noting that it serves as a critical foundation for acquiring the essential skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional educator in the future.

“Ngayong araw na ito na kung saan ay tatanggpin ninyo ang hamon at responsibilidad ng isang ganap student-teacher, hindi lang ito isang simbolo ng inyong pagsusumikap, kung hindi isang paalala kung anong larangan ang inyong susuungin sa mga susunod pang kabanata,” she added.

The Bataan CID Chief also commended LPC’s historic achievement in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, where the institution ranked third nationwide among schools with 50 to 99 examinees at the secondary level with 96.08 percent passing rate.

Meanwhile, a total of 143 graduating student from Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, Filipino, and Mathematics, marked their formal transition into Pre-Service teachers after receiving their pins and will be deployed to their respective cooperating schools before the end of August. #
