A group composed of representatives from the Limay Polytechnic College (LPC), General Services Office (GSO), and Office of the Mayor impressed both the judges and the audience with their fusion of traditional folk and modern street dance, earning them the first runner-up spot in the recently concluded Limay Municipal Got Talent held at the Limay Sports Complex on October 6.

With the theme โ€œGen X Balik Tanaw: Indayog ng Serbisyong Publiko,โ€ the team, dubbed the โ€œMayorโ€™s General LPCians,โ€ stood out with their energetic and culturally rich performance choreographed by Mr. Joemark Ablian, LPC Director for Research and Extension.

An original song titled โ€œ1Limay, Isang Pamilya,โ€ written and produced by LPC instructor and performer Danreve Apostol, was also featured in their presentation. The piece served as one of the highlights, emphasizing what makes the town of Limay unique and portraying its citizens as one united family.

LPC President Dr. Elmer De Leon lauded the team for their outstanding performance.

โ€œCongratulations, all! You made the LPC community so, so proud with your superb performance. Keep going,โ€ De Leon said, addressing the performers shortly after their victory was announced.

He commended the group not only for their talent but also for the pride and unity they brought to the school.

Moreover, Ms. Clarize Tanjuan and Mr. Reynaldo Cabral from Mayorโ€™s Office and GSO respectively, also extended their congratulations on the victory of the team.

Meanwhile, Group 2, composed of representatives from the Municipal Health Office, Market, Slaughter, Procurement, Post Office, BAC, Legal Office, Engineering Office, Treasurerโ€™s Office, PESO, Admin Office, and LPSO, emerged as the champion.
Group 4โ€”representing LSU Limay/Lamao, MSWD, MIS, Accounting Office, Seaborne, Agricultural Office, HRMO, LDRRM, Budget Office, BPLO, and Command Centerโ€”claimed second runner-up honors.

This yearโ€™s Municipal Got Talent aimed to strengthen camaraderie, teamwork, and enjoyment among public servants while celebrating and reminiscing the golden era of Generation X. #
