𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC partners with more HTEs for Internship and Career Opportunities for Accountancy Students

With the continuing growth in enrollment in the Accountancy program, Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) has expanded its partnerships with more Host Training Establishments (HTEs) to provide enhanced internship and career opportunities for its Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) students for the current academic year.
The expanded industry linkages are intended to provide student-interns with meaningful opportunities to apply their academic knowledge, strengthen their technical and professional competencies, and gain firsthand experience in the actual accounting and business environment.
To formalize these partnerships, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) were entered into by College President Dr. Elmer De Leon, Business and Accountancy Department Head Dr. John Levy Rueda, and Accountancy Program Chair Ms. Cindy Lazarte, together with representatives of the participating HTEs.
The agreements establish the framework for the internship deployment and define the respective responsibilities of the partner institutions.
Dr. Rueda and Ms. Lazarte spearheaded the identification and engagement of prospective partner companies, facilitated the negotiations and agreements, and will oversee the endorsement and deployment of student-interns following their Coining and Pinning Ceremonies.
At LPC, internship is viewed not merely as a course requirement but as an important career-readiness and industry immersion opportunity.
Through strategic HTE partnerships, the College seeks to place students in organizations where they can further develop workplace competencies while gaining exposure to professional standards, organizational practices, and actual accounting operations.
The College likewise endeavors to connect student-interns with partner companies that may provide potential employment pathways through hiring, absorption, or professional recommendations based on demonstrated performance and organizational requirements.
As part of this culture of excellence, LPC recognizes student-interns who successfully transition from internship to employment through its Corporate Internship Award, particularly those who secure employment or are absorbed by their host organizations within the first or second quarter of their internship experience.
Through strengthened academe-industry partnerships, LPC continues to advance its commitment to producing competent, work-ready, and career-oriented Accountancy graduates, while creating stronger pathways from classroom learning to professional practice. #
