3rd Academe-Industry Forum; BizHub Launch; Product Pitching seize Business Day

Business and Accountancy Department (BAD) of Limay Polytechnic College held the 3rd Academe-Industry Consultation Forum, with the theme "Reciprocity Between Academe and Industry: Seizing New Opportunities Among Stakeholders", which was attended in by Business Administration and Accountancy students as part of the LPC's 28th Founding Anniversary at Limay Sports Complex, May 28.
Mr. Ariel Vibar, head of Business and Accountancy Department led the event with his opening remarks. This year's panel of speakers from the industry included Ms. Rodylyn Del Mundo from Limay Merchant Multi-Purpose Coop., Ms. Charmaine Sanchez from Philippine Port Authority, Ms. Rozelle Bustamante from One Source General Solutions Inc., and Mr. Danilo Amiado from Amiado Accounting Consultancy Services. They articulated current business trends and industry demands for prospective potential hirees that may serve as inputs to curriculum review and revision.

Meanwhile, the presentation of E-Pamahayanan 2.0 and IPpreneurship, launching of BizHub and Finest Corporate Emporium and Product Pitching completed the Business Day celebration.
To note, the Marketing students demonstrated their creativity, resourcefulness and entrepreneurial skills in presenting their relevant business plans and projects and in exhibiting their innovative products.
The event was endeavored efficiently by chairs and co-chairs Mr. Ariel Vibar, Ms. Rhea Pipo, Ms. Rizzalyn Hussein and Ms. Julie Diaz and the Business Dept. Organization.
