Led by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) and other student organizations, Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) on Thursday honored the dedication and passion of its teaching and non-teaching staff during the Teachersโ Day celebration held at the LPC Audio-Visual Room on October 2.
The program opened with warm welcome messages from Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, College President, Ms. April R. Cruz, Director for Academic Affairs, and Marck Jay M. Mendoza, SSC President who all expressed their appreciation for the tireless commitment of educators and the vital role they play in shaping future professionals.
During the Tribute and Recognition segment, the โWall of Gratitudeโโa creative display of student messages expressing love and appreciation for their instructorsโwas unveiled.
An audio-visual presentation prepared by the SSC, titled โThrough the Years with Our Teachers,โ added a nostalgic touch as the audience reflected on meaningful moments shared between students and mentors.
Lance Borjal captivated the crowd with a spoken word poetry performance dedicated to LPC instructors.
The event was also filled with fun and camaraderie as teaching and non-teaching personnel participated in a series of games and recreational activities.
Musical performances were rendered by Rizzalyn Hussain, Via Mae Satingin, and Danreve Apostol.
The celebration concluded with a message of gratitude from Julie Ann Diaz, Faculty President, followed by closing remarks from Jessica A. Marata, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Discipline.
The event ended on a heartfelt note with a surprise performance by LPCian students, who sang โSalamatโ by Yeng Constantino. #
