Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) on Thursday, officially hosted its 5th Lampara Investiture and Pinning Ceremony for Teacher Education Department (TED) Pre-Service Teachers with the themeโ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ท๐ฆ: ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐บ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐น๐ค๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ,โ held at the Limay Sports Complex August 14.
A total of 143 graduating students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in English, Filipino, and Mathematics, marked their formal transition into pre-service teaching after receiving their pins. They will be deployed to their respective cooperating schools before the end of August.
The program commenced with a warm message from LPC College President, Dr. Elmer B. De Leon who highlighted the value of perseverance and dedication to the pre-service teachers. Dr. De Leon further urged them to strive for excellence in fulfilling their aspirations, not only for themselves but also in honor of their parents and loved ones.
Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) of the Schools Division Office of DepEd Bataan and guest speaker Dr. Milagros M. Peรฑaflor began her speech by sharing valuable lessons with the pre-service teachers. Dr. Peรฑaflor emphasized the importance of the student teaching experience, noting that it serves as a critical foundation for acquiring the essential skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional educator in the future.

The program then proceeded with the lighting of Lampara by the student interns, symbolizing the light they will carry into the new chapter of their practice teaching journey. This was followed by the singing of โWhat Dreams Are Made Of,โ which reflected the hopes, desires, and aspirations that inspire and motivate them; and the acceptance of their respective pins, which was solemnly affirmed through the recitation of the Student Teacher's Creed.
Moreover, Municipal Administrator Danilo E. Datay, representing the LGU Limay, delivered a message to the students affirming the 100% support of the Municipality of Limay, led by Mayor Richie Jason D. David, for all programs and activities of LPC.
The program was also attended by Teacher Education Department Head Ms. April R. Cuz, who delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude in her closing remarks; BOT Secretary Ms. Remedios P. Mendoza; department heads; LPC teaching and non-teaching staff; and was organized by DTE focal person Jana Marie D. Mangune. #
