LPC IZN Team joins CHED's ASEAN ULAYAW Series

Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) continued to strengthen its internationalization efforts as its Internationalization (IZN) Team participated in the ASEAN ULAYAW Series (Unifying Linkages and ASEAN-driven Yields in Academe for Wider Internationalization) organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III) via Zoom on August 3.
The activity formed part of the 2026 ASEAN Month Celebration and supports CHED's internationalization agenda under the ACHIEVE Framework, which promotes stronger global engagement and collaboration among Philippine higher education institutions.
The ASEAN ULAYAW Series aims to foster collaboration, partnerships, and shared commitment among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the ASEAN region in advancing internationalization initiatives while strengthening regional solidarity and cooperation.
The webinar gathered Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, Vice Presidents for External Affairs, International Relations Officers (IROs), Internationalization focal persons, and staff from various higher education institutions in Central Luzon.
The program focused on equipping participating institutions with practical frameworks, planning tools, and best practices in developing Strategic Internationalization Plans (SIPs) aligned with institutional priorities, CHED's internationalization agenda, ASEAN cooperation objectives, and global higher education standards.
Limay Polytechnic College was represented by its Internationalization Team, led by Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, IZN deputy who joined fellow higher education professionals in learning strategies to further strengthen institutional internationalization initiatives.
LPC continues to pursue its vision of becoming a globally engaged institution by implementing programs and initiatives that expand international collaboration and provide wider opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.
These include international academic partnerships, student and faculty exchange, internship and employment opportunities, collaborative research, benchmarking activities, cultural exchange programs, and ASEAN integration initiatives.
The College's participation in the ASEAN ULAYAW Series reflects its continuing commitment to aligning its internationalization efforts with national and regional priorities while building meaningful global partnerships that enhance academic quality, innovation, and institutional competitiveness.
Through sustained engagement in CHED-led internationalization programs, Limay Polytechnic College remains steadfast in preparing its academic community to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global higher education landscape. #
