𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | DTE sends off LET Examinees; concludes with Prayer Vigil
Date Posted: Mar. 07, 2026
Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) Department of Teacher Education, conducted a Send-off Ceremony for Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) takers, March 15.
Ms. April Cruz, DTE head, invited the examinees to join the two-day program set on March 04 and 05 at the Audiovisual Room.
Dr. Elmer De Leon, president, delivered his message for the examinees and reminded them to use the right skills in answering the items, such as critical analysis, sound judgment, deductive reasoning, effective evidential rationalization, and concept understanding.
"Remember to always stand for the truth and for what is right, know your purpose and whom you are serving. Never believe in false prophecies on items that will possibly come out; you will just be disappointed and fail to meet your expectations. Instead, do self-reflection and judgment," articulated Dr. De Leon.
He left his acronym, Be CAREFUL, which stands for Comprehend, Analyze, Reflect/Recall, Eliminate, Formulate a strategy for choosing the best answer, Understand the matching analogy between the contextual clue and the closest answer, and Lay down answers through right and appropriate shading, as he reminded everyone.
Dr. De Leon also enjoined everyone in his reflection session on what it means to be a professional teacher, grounded in principles, theories, legal bases, and philosophies, because this examination will measure their competencies and readiness in the teaching practice as a reflection of the institutional instructional process.
"It would just either be, you will contribute to resolving educational problems among learners, or you would add to the problem that you may create, is indeed where this test would gauge you," asserted Dr. De Leon.
The two-day session culminated with the Prayer Vigil and Reflection led by Ms. Jesica Marata and the Pencil Ceremony by Ms. Cruz. The next day, the examinees approached their faculty members for some coaching and refresher sessions in the specialization.
It was also agreed that the examinees would meet every night for the 7 o'clock prayer vigil in preparation for the board examination.
To note, at most, fewer than 200 examinees from LPC will flock to the assigned testing centers in Pampanga and Baguio City. And LPC aims to make a historic back-to-back winning performance in LET from the 2025 results. And most importantly, this opportunity will draw the latter closer to their career dreams and success.
The whole LPC Community prays and wishes the examinees all the best of luck and success in the examination endeavor that they will undertake. #
