Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) Guidance and Testing personnel led by the director Mr. Dominic Primero, RGC and Ms. Rodalie Dineros, RN coordinator of Clinic Unit and Ms. Jesica Marata, OSADS participated in the Suicidal Prevention Workshop dubbed as "What keeps you going?" organized by the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Sugar Eleria Enriquez at the Limay Multipurpose Hall, September 17.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness on suicide prevention by providing knowledge and tools necessary in determining warning signs, understanding risk factors, and conducting preventive measures and coping strategies that would support students' mental health and well-being.
The said workshop entailed group dynamic activities, counseling and introspection exercises.
Notably, besetting this aspect as a prime priority, LPC is committed to ensuring mental health status of its employees and students toward attaining sustainable well-being. In fact, various activities have been regularly conducted for this purpose. #
