Limay Polytechnic College strengthens its Edukalinga, an extension program that provides lifelong learning education and social services to elderly residents of the Municipality of Limay.

A memorandum of understanding was transacted for the renewal of the said program with Mr. Jaime Apro (head of Office of Senior Citizens Association) and Mr. Gabriel Balastigue (MUFESCA/FSCAP president) at the Limay Senior Citizens Hall, September 16.

Relentlessly, it is promised that the next batch of Edukalinga participants will experience better opportunities and expanded program, new curriculum and coordinated with more agencies.

This would include Seniorpreneurship Program with livelihood integration and would entail wider reach. Making it more structured, relevant and seamless, different departments and offices at LPC committed to get involved in providing services and related lessons, and will share space, facilities and laboratories in the campus.

To note, Edukalinga has been a world ranked innovation program pioneered by LPC in the most significant and relevant perspective that has gained appreciation and recognition by families, communities and the local government.

On LPC's end, Dr. Elmer De Leon, president; Mr. Joemark Ablian Extension director; Ms. Julie Diaz, Community Development coordinator; Ms. Queences Ricel De Guzman, Program proponent; and Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, Linkages officer were present to witness the said MOU signing, together with some student facilitators. #
