Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) participated in the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz – Provincial Elimination held at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), Mariveles, Bataan, October 29.

Emeterio III Cataluña, a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) student, clinched fifth place among 18 contenders from six participating schools across Bataan.

LPC was also represented by Ann Labuton, a BSED Mathematics student, and Janna Loussie Soriano, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) student.

The team was coached by Mr. Joemark D. Ablian, Research and Development Extension Director.

“We express our gratitude for the support given by the LPC family headed by our College President, Dr. Elmer B. De Leon,” said Mr. Ablian, commending the college’s continued encouragement of academic excellence.

The six participating schools were Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), MAAP, Asia Pacific College of Advanced Studies (APCAS), Tomas del Rosario College (TDeL), Heroes College, and LPC.

The provincial elimination aimed to identify the province’s top three young statistics whizzes who will represent Bataan in the regional leg of the competition. #
