The team tackled the continuous acquisition of books and learning resources to support the new programs for application in the next school year, while it will continue accepting book donations as personal and special collections.
Hence, Ms. Llanda reported the encoding of titles in the OPAC and the library management system that are nearly in completion.
Dr. De Leon also reminded the team to outsource efficient online learning resources for purchase, partner with university libraries for online resource sharing or if possible to establish consortium with other institutions for sharing on the cost toward efficient cost reduction mechanism.
He also mentioned to include in the layout a space for digital reading and researching where donated digital tablets and computer units will be arranged, in addition to the internet section in place.
Additionally, the library has to strengthen its utilization by creating engaging activities, effective promotional programs and coordination with the academics and integrating with classes, while sustaining its destressing activities, coaching and tutoring services and recognition of top library users. He also further emphasized to continue the operation of 'Kape at Aral' Program as the president's brainchild program.
To date, the team is preparing a seminar-writeshop on Children's Book Story Writing in three phases to be held next week, with Story Writing (Phase 1), Digital Cover Design Making (Phase 2), and Story Telling and Narrating (Phase 3), in collaboration with the Elementary Education and Technology programs. Best outputs will be recognized and awarded, of which entries will be submitted in a publishing company and an entry to a book writing competition and citation.

As such, the library may have its own publication material like newsletter to be assisted by Mr. Barbin in the layout design.
Benchmarking with other local universities and colleges (LUCs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs) was identified as a strategy to further improve the institutionβs library services by adopting programs, systems and activities in practice in the visiting host institutions.
