LPC holds year-end gathering; celebrates birthdays

Coinciding the year-end review and assessment, in 'stripes and shawl' motif, Limay Polytechnic College admin, faculty and staff held the Year-end Gathering and Birthday Celebration of December born at Piging Events and Catering Place, December 20, 2024. Messages, fun games, Tiktok dance challenge, prayers, raffle scratch n' match, buffet dinner, sharing of Pamaskong Handog, exchange gift and birthday tribute, including welcoming of two new members of the family delighted the program. It was made even solemn, sacred and meaningful when four of them representing each cluster uttered prayers of the lighting of Yuletide Advent candles before it was concluded with a get together Carol "Christmas in our Hearts". These all comprised this year's theme: Paskong LPC spelled out meaningfully. A different exchange gift, while narrating the left and right of first Christmas story grounded everyone on the Yuletide spirit that lingered on, while a twist on cash sur'prize' on best gift numbers 20 and 25. (significantly, 20 was the event date and 25 is Christmas day; and 2025 denotes new year of hope). As another year closes, and a new one begins, everyone hopes for the best and vows to commit one's self to the best selfless service, while throwing away lapses, failures, disappointments, frustrations, conflicts and negativities in the deepest portion of the Sea as paddled by forgiveness and canoed with sincere apology. Truly, an unforgetable celebration and commemoration of love, hope, peace and joy as the true essence of the Yuletide Season. "Sana maulit muli," exclaimed everyone with a smile.
